ImageAFRL Technology Horizons

For the U.S. Air Force, TBCM created a bi-monthly custom magazine designed to brand the Air Force Research Lab as a world leader in technology innovation. The magazine was a resounding success, becoming the largest-circulation engineering magazine for the defense market and producing thousands of new business contacts for the Air Force. It has evolved into Defense Tech Briefs, a commercial magazine that also covers technology breakthroughs from the U.S. Army, Navy, and other branches of the military.

ImageCommercial News USA

CNUSA is the official export marketing magazine of the Department of Commerce, helping U.S. manufacturers to establish distribution channels and sell their goods across the globe. We became the first private sector publishing partner of the DOC, responsible for designing and printing the monthly magazine, creating and maintaining its Web site, and selling advertising for print and online.

ImageFederal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) Newsletters/Marketing Materials

The FLC comprises a network of 16 federal agencies and more than 250 research laboratories, working together to transfer government technologies to the commercial marketplace. We wrote and designed FLC newsletters and marketing collateral including "From Technology to Marketplace," a popular compendium of products spun off from federal R&D programs.

ImageNASA Technology Today

In cooperation with NASA and the International Technology Education Association, we developed a magazine for science and math teachers, designed to bring space technology down to Earth and into the classroom as part of K-12 curricula nationwide.

ImageDigital Design Center

Autodesk is a premier provider of design tools for the engineering and construction markets. TBCM created a custom microsite for Autodesk targeted to engineers who use and buy software to prototype parts (called digital prototyping). This content-driven site attracts a highly qualified audience for Autodesk's products while helping to brand the company as a leader in digital prototyping.

ImageNASA Tech Briefs

For three decades, we have published NASA's official new technology magazine for engineers. Under this groundbreaking partnership with the government, we have tripled the qualified circulation, increased frequency from quarterly to monthly, and developed highly trafficked Web sites as well as many other e-products, while saving U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars annually. In addition to producing all of the magazine and Web content, we have written/edited thousands of white papers for NASA to accompany the magazine articles (tech briefs). Today, NASA Tech Briefs is the world's largest-circulation design engineering magazine. It has been honored with numerous awards, and NASA's Distinguished Public Service Medal.
